This tutorial was written for PSP10.

This tutorial was written to help explain how to make your own image from a tube for the Glow Wind Tag.

Find a tube you want to use and open it in PSP.

Go to Image / Canvas Size

New Dimensions Width 650, Height 450, Placement Center.

Using the Pick Tool, scale your tube so it takes up about half of your canvas.



Go to Layers / Duplicate. Go to Image / Flip.
In your Layer palette pull the flipped tube layer to the bottom.
Using your mover tool position the flipped image like below ...



Go to Layers / New Raster Layer then Layers / Arrange / Send to Bottom.

In your Materials palette make your Foreground color #737176 and
your Background color #000000. Change your Foreground to Gradient
and use these settings ..
#1 Foreground-Background
Angle 136
Repeats 0
Check Invert
Style Linear

Flood fill your canvas with the gradient. Go to Adjust / Blur / Gaussian Blur / Radius 100.

In your Layer Palette, click on the bottom tube layer and lower the opacity to 50.
Make any final adjustments with the Mover tool and then Merge Visible.
Your image is ready for the tutorial now.
