~ You will need ~

Paint Shop Pro 10, a 30 day trial can be downloaded here.
Supplies for the tutorial here. The tubes used for this tutorial are by CAT, Patry, Ana Lou and several scraptubes.
Please respect the tubers wishes and do not change the file names or alter them in any way.

Have all the tubes open in PSP.
Optional filter ~ FM Tile Tools here. Install this in your plugins folder.
My dear friend, Diana tested the tut for me and her awesome results are displayed at the bottom of this page.

Let's get started ...

Step 1
Open a transparent image 640 x 480 pixels and name it dearmemories.psp. This will be our working image.
Selections/Select All.

Step 2
Open "Achtergrond.psp", Edit/Copy, go back to your working image Edit/Paste into Selection.
Selections/Select None. Please keep the "Achtergrond" file in PSP, we will need it again at the end of the tut.
You may close out all the other tubes as we finish using them.

Step 3
Open now "Overlay.psp", Edit/Copy, go back to your working image Edit/Paste as new Layer.
Effects/Plugins/FM Tile Tools/Blend Emboss at the default settings.
If you are not using FM Tile Tools go to Effects/Edge Effects/Enhance.

Step 4
Open "cadre dentelle 2", Edit/Copy, go back to your working image Edit/Paste as New Layer.
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow ..
H 2 and V 2
Opacity 50
Blur 10
Color Black

Step 5
Open tube "PatryMists_06_Beauty_13", Image/Resize 70%. Edit/Copy, go back to your working image Edit/Paste as New Layer.
In the layer palette pull this layer below the lace frame layer and move it to the left like below ..

Step 6
In the layer palette activate the lace frame layer.
Open "Lace.psp". Edit/Copy, go back to your working image Edit/Paste as New Layer.
Move the lace over to the left so it's centered between the edge of the canvas and the lace frame.
You can move the lace by clicking on the Mover Tool first then hitting the left arrow key on your keyboard until it's in place.

Step 7
Open "Kat_0516". Image/Resize to 50%. Edit/Copy, go back to your working image Edit/Paste as New Layer.
Move the rose so it's sitting at the bottom corner of the image.
Effects/Plugins/FM Tile tools/ Blend emboss.
If you aren't using FM Tile Tools go to Adjust/Sharpness/Unsharp Mask Radius 2, Strength 64, Clipping 4.

Step 8
Open "Rope.psp". Edit/Copy, go back to your working image Edit/Paste as New Layer.
Adjust/Sharpness/Unsharp Mask using same settings as the previous step.
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow ..
H 1 and V 1
Opacity 30
Blur 1
Color Black

Step 9
Open "Binder.psp". Edit/Copy, go back to your working image Edit/Paste as New Layer.
Adjust/Sharpness/Unsharp Mask using same settings as the previous step.
Move this to the top so it's sitting in the middle of the lace strip and right at the top edge.
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow ..
H 1 and V 1
Opacity 80
Blur 2
Color Black

Step 10
Open "medaillon.psp". Edit/Copy, go back to your working image Edit/Paste as New Layer.
Adjust/Sharpness/Unsharp Mask using same settings as the previous step.
Move this tube so it's hanging from the binder.
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow ..
H 1 and V 1
Opacity 80
Blur 1
Color Black

Step 11
Open tube "scraptube21_joluvsdogs". Edit/Copy, go back to your working image Edit/Paste as New Layer.
Move this tube to the bottom left side of the image.
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow ..
H 1 and V 1
Opacity 80
Blur 1
Color Black
Repeat with H -1 and V -1.

Step 12
Open "pin.psp". Edit/Copy, go back to your working image Edit/Paste as New Layer.
Move the tube so it's on the lace frame like below.

Opacity 80
Blur 1
Color Black

Step 13
Open "Bow.psp".
Edit/Copy, go back to your working image Edit/Paste as New Layer.
Place the bow in the chain.

Opacity 80
Blur 1
Color Black

We are getting ready to merge the layers and add the gold bead border so you might want to save a copy of the tag with the layers intact for later use.

Step 14
Image/Add Borders 2 pixels, symmetric, color black.
Select the black border with your Magic Wand, Tolerance and Feather 0 and Anti-Alias off.
In your layer palette change the foreground color to pattern and locate your gold beads pattern. Use the pattern at Angle 0 and Scale 100.
Flood fill the selection with the gold beads. Keep the selection active.
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow ..
H 1 and V 1
Opacity 80
Blur 2
Color Black
Repeat with H -2 and V -2.
Selections/Select None.

Step 15
Image/Add Borders, 20 pixels, symmetric, black.
Select with the Magic Wand.
In your layer palette change the pattern to "Achtergrond.psp", Angle 0 and Scale 50.
Flood fill the selection.
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow ..
H -1 and V -1
Opacity 80
Blur 2
Color Black
Repeat with H 1 and V 1.
Selections/Select None.

Step 16
Image/Add Borders 2 pixels, symmetric, color black.
Select the black border with your Magic Wand, Tolerance and Feather 0 and Anti-Alias off.
In your layer palette change the foreground color to pattern and locate your gold beads pattern. Use it at Angle 0 and scale 100.
Flood fill the selection with the gold beads.
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow ..
H 1 and V 1
Opacity 80
Blur 2
Color Black
Repeat with H -1 and V -1.
Selections/Select None.
Now add your name, either on the tags hanging from the pin or some where on the tag.
That's it, your "Dear Memories" tag is done!
